OK Party is a group of five stand up and sketch comedians from Omaha, Nebraska who have been working hard to put on alternative comedy shows and bring in big name comedians to buy drinks for.  We love Omaha, and we love making people laugh uncomfortably.  Every show we put on is something new and different and guaranteed to be OK.

The Dudes:

Zach Peterson is a founding member of OK Party Comedy along with Ian. He performs sketch, improv and is also an accomplished stand-up comedian, performing in and around the Omaha area. He has opened up for the likes of Doug Benson, Rob Delaney and Kyle Kinane. As the host of The Mid-Best Podcast he has interviewed musicians, comedians and other midwest luminaries. He likes football.

Ian Douglas Terry isn’t a comedian, he is a performer.  Of course what generally comes out of his mouth is comedic…but Ian prefers to label his art form as “Drunken Lying”.  He is fond of eating in the bath tub and reading books about dragons. Ian has opened for Doug Benson, Kyle Kinane, Tig Notaro, Howard Kremer, and Neil Hamburger.  None of these people disliked him outwardly.

Mike Perry  What does a star sound like when it burns out and collapses in on itself? Even scientists don’t know the answer to that. The closest they’ve come to describing it is the comedy of OK Party’s Mike Perry. Mike is a legend in his own mind, still living off of being a minor local celebrity as a radio DJ almost 10 years ago. However, that confidence that people love him forever and unconditionally has given him the ability to take chances in stand up that others are afraid to, from moving from the stage to perform in the middle of the crowd, to challenging hecklers to a winner-takes-all dance off. Mike has performed stand up throughout the Midwest for the past two years and still believes that he is quite popular.

Jason Miller As the living, breathing answer to the question, “What do you do with a college degree in Communications?” Jason Miller is new to Omaha, via Chicago and parts unknown. After a 13 year career behind the microphone in radio throughout the Midwest and East Coast, Jason knocked up his wife and entered the more lucrative field of Stay At Home fatherhood, chronicling the first two years of his new career adventures in the regionally famous Omaha Dad blog. When not painstakingly caring for his beard (and his son), Jason now brings his irreverent take on parenthood and life in general to unsuspecting live audiences…mostly for the health insurance.

Casey Crawford is a comedy enigma.  He doesn’t have a Twitter account and doesn’t self-promote.  He is hands down the funniest person in Omaha, Nebraska.  In his short time doing stand up he has opened for Neil Hamburger and performed regionally in the Midwest.
